“Ideas only flow downstream. Trying to influence people by forcing your ideas onto them is as useful as pushing water upstream.” I introduced the idea stream into a devops paper I wrote this year. H/T MOZ @dwr.eth @erik it’s very meta, the idea of an idea stream flowing downstream to me 😂

I got into devops when I was already leading teams, so I don’t actually have hands on devops experience. But I saw first hand how it improved team performance and made everyone happier at work and I’ve been hooked since then 😉
