So interestingly, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is not the kind of game that nails first impressions— That’s fine.

Believe it or not, my first impression of Baldur’s Gate 3 wasn’t great, but it quickly became one of my all time favorite games.

DD2 is rough but it has some really great, enjoyable game qualities.

I’m having so much fun playing DD2 so far. It’s the first time in a long time where I don’t feel the need to rush through the game to complete it… so relaxing to just chill and enjoy the atmosphere.

love that!!! i absolutely agree. my initial reaction was likely due to hype. But after really spending time playing it becomes immensely enjoyable
