The craziest thing happened: on the same day I received the hackathon prize, I found two dogs abandoned on the street, sleeping in front of my building. They were so sweet—definitely not raised on the streets. I brought them inside, gave them a safe space in a separate room, and have been running campaigns on Instagram and Twitter to help find them a new home, because I don't think I can care for them and my 3 cats properly. Both are receiving medical care. One of them is even at the vet for further investigation due to some eating issues. It's such a relief to know that the extra cash from the prize allows me to care for these pure souls until they find a loving home. And to think—the main image of *Lens Agora* is a girl with a dog. So weird to see my Lens feed of so much racism and homophia. Throughout history diverse individuals have pioneered creative culture. It’s easy to blame others for your problems but most problems are from within. What is the point of building the new social if its just flooded with content even trashier than X?

imaginary friend says, ‘Not alone, so not lonely,’ but someone stole one. I was shocked and deeply saddened that there are people who would take something they’re not supposed to touch. But maybe, somewhere, someone was feeling less lonely because of it, and perhaps that’s a good thing.
