had my first date in a YEAR last night

we went to my fave lesbian bar after getting tea/apps at a vibey date spot, ended up stumbling into the end of a drag show, then danced for hours to disco with all of the drag queens & audience

oh how i love the warmth & authenticity of the queer community 💖

Lovely writing! I've never been to Montreal, but your vivid description got me nostalgic for the heyday of lesbian wonderlands rooted in second-wave feminism. I wasn't directly involved in any of those communities, but lesbian feminist writings made such a big difference in my life when I came out in the 1990s.
