Friends of Slowcore HQ, we'd like to hear thoughts on long-term sustenance of writing *as an art form* in web3 contexts, as distinguished from "content creation." We're asking ourselves: Could a slowcore approach sustain a long-term livelihood for the Sanctuary? See screenshot (WIP) for ideas on the problem space.

The big problem is the same as it is in Web2: discovery. Web2 "solved" this via algorithmic content delivery, which resulted in all the problems you list in part II. Creators learned how to influence the algorithm, but were influenced in turn. And the platforms benefitted the most.

I think I mentioned having a body of work that draws attention in one of our conversations. You certainly have that. I think we'll still need to bridge between web2 and web3 to achieve discovery which @tombeck.eth brought up. (cont)

I bookmarked this thread while I thought more about it. I agree with Tom's comments about discovery. I struggle to read long form digital anything now. But I do enjoy reading paper; I stick out like a sore thumb on the train these days! 90% of the carriage are in smombie mode 😎

i'm sure your ideas are fantastic and thoughtful as always! accessibility feedback 😅 the gray background / black font is a little too low contrast for me to read...and if an increase in font size is possible that would be great... ...really showing my age here 👵
