Always appreciate not only your top-notch level of expertise in this niche, but the level of attention and detail that you put into writing these hifi threads. ("..polished silver and resolutely stoic, like a Greek temple." That's a beautiful and apt turn of phrase!)

I'm more of a garden-variety audiogeek with a humble home audio setup myself, but I sure do enjoy reading and learning about the high-end stuff this way.

Can Farcaster sign you on as the official nichemaxxer-in-residence or something? You've surely earned it many times over.

As I've said before, I'd love to see @matthewb become Farcaster's official nichemaxxer-in-residence. His hifi threads are legendary for good reason. 

Later on down the line, when FC gets big enough to have thriving channels for multiple musical genres, I'll take over the dark ambient + drone music niche (and revive the /slowcore-hq channel, too).
