Definitely a powerful combo, and an underexplored design space. I still see a lot of focus on metrics (e.g., follower counts) that don't work well for purposes of cultivating slowcore value.

I think a lot about the power of limits and labor-reduction in relation to value flows.

Looking forward to more convos here!

'Respecting the limits of human time and attention' and 'built-in ways to reduce  cognitive burdens and attention labor for writers' is a powerful combo that will unlock so much freedom and possibility for writers.

Excited to envision and build the tools and workflows for that to happen within the slowcore context.

I agree that maintenance doesn't get the respect it deserves. With channels, owners can now experiment to find sustainable ways to provide for some of that work economically.

Would love to see this latest slow-culture movement sow its seeds and take root elsewhere too.

The part about preserving, also reminded me of how we seemingly lost the art of maintenance nowadays. Maybe it's the constant pressure to produce and consume...

Yet it feels this slow movement could have its benefits well beyond our cozy web :)
