Thoughtful piece with lots of questions worth considering. I love the convos here and I think FC should lean into them. "...we should review all features and touch points: Do they promote or facilitate conversations? [...] How can we add more context to discussion threads? [....] Or maybe we want better moderation tools per discussion."

Thanks for sharing this article, Danica! I really appreciated @vrypan.eth ‘s “start with why” approach (big Simon Sinek energy) and with his core hypothesis that FC is a great place to hold conversations. (It could ALSO be a great place for news – the two are not mutually exclusive, but making that a core strength of the ecosystem would be another conversation entirely!) Curious to know if either of you have listened to @balajis.eth talk about distribution - his podcast episodes with Tim Ferriss are my “go-to” for this – I can provide links if anyone is interested! My n=1 is that FC is already a great place to find interesting people and converse with them – and that the recommendations in this article – UI improvements, moderation – would help. So, that’s my two cents / 200 $DEGEN / [insert $moxie calculation here] Look forward to hearing what you think - and will tag you in my own reply to the other key issue the article raises but which space precludes me from addressing here!

This has been my main goal too! Reminds me of the conversation liquidity pool that you started with @adrienne. I think there’s a ton of value in sharing conversations Channels create potentially cozy and safe places for new people, but also high distribution for signals of value Loving /tavern as a place for live convos too
