After having a farewell lunch with @popegrutch I'm now sitting in the Eugene Public Library for a couple more hours until my train back to Portland leaves. Eugene is my fav city in the US. Every time I have to leave, part of me resists because "Eugene is my home" in some way that defies explanation. Even though I was born in Illinois, grew up in Hawai'i, and have lived in Portland for the past 16 years. 🤷♀️
