I want a protocol for exiting trade secrets into public goods. You can think of it as the pharma funding problem, but it's much broader than that. I think it's important. I've found myself with incentive to keep trade secrets (competitive advantage, stay afloat), when all I *really* want to do is contribute.

One protocol I've imagined is just a continuous auction: Let people post standing, no lock-in bids for the thing to be released to them (non exclusively). Maybe all they get is an NFT and it gets leaked to the public... that would seem good to me! But at least it provides an off-ramp for the agent holding exclusives.
