One solution to the risk of claiming airdrops would be if airdrops stopped requiring the claim tx to be initiated by the eligible account. Let any account initiate another account’s claim process, to itself.

this is a common method now, love that it enabled the claim from a hot wallet, or even a sponsored claim from an airdrop notification service

Might be too crazy to work, but maybe wallets could standardize a single airdrop/free mint 4337 wallet that everyone has the option to use when the wallet detects that state change can be achieved independent of the sender. Mints have to be bundled with a transfer to the user, but airdrops should work out of the box
