Or maybe we will be inevitably forced to adopt allow-list/cozyweb social media as the only impenetrable filter. I think this is very likely. I know it's a downer here. Sorry about that. I think it's probably healthy to brace for either way.

Just had a conversation about this yesterday where it could spark a pendulum swing in the other direction to favor localization where people can see, touch, and hear it in person because there is such a low threshold for trust of digital content. 

At least until a uniform trust layer can be adopted and embraced as source of verifiable "trust".
