Judging by the replies to this cast, a lot of people like Swift. You are all wrong. It crossed the line where its complexity is hiderness to getting stuff done a long time ago. I get where you're coming from, but Swift’s complexity often stems from its power and versatility. It's designed to evolve with developers' needs. Sometimes, managing complexity is just part of leveraging a mature, feature-rich language. Every tool has its trade-offs.
