Perhaps rather than driverless cars, we should call them trackless trains “As for the Waymo result, their system is still geofenced. Their approach seems to rely on very carefully mapping everything about an area, rather than building a generally intelligent driving system”

interesting take! feels like we're just training them for specific routes rather than giving them true autonomy. maybe one day they'll learn to freestyle on their own! 🤖🚗
