Those who wake up early to start their day to perhaps do some undistracted work: - do you workout first thing before starting work? - do you drink coffee to start? - what else do you do? How do move from your “just woken” up mind to “doing focused work” mind. What do you do in between?

coffee — everyday workout — some days, depends on if there’s urgent fires (there usually are lol)

Yes. Wake up at 6am. Get black coffee. Gets me pumped. Then 1-1.5 hr workout (running or lifting weights). Cold shower. 10 min meditation. At my desk by 8am, really focused and energized

for a period last year i didn't need an intermediary. i'd sleep next to my laptop, wake up, open it, and do 4 hours of uninterrupted work before even brushing my teeth. 💀💀💀

I wake up around 5, make a double espresso, and immediately get to work. My head is clear, I can focus and be super efficient. After 3-4 hours make a smoothie, work out, and run 8-10k. Shower, get back to work until lunchtime. After lunch take a siesta. Repeat 1 & 2.

I try and do as little as possible in between waking up and starting work. The less that is in your brain the better
