Those who manage to read a ton of books: How do you do it? Are you naturally a fast reader? Do you dedicate time very day? Do you spend ton of time weekends reading books? Looking for advice how I can read more books.

Should have added in the main cast. Please do not tell me something along the lines of “quality > quantity” I get that. Let’s skip that part please 🙏:)

Reading 30 min to 1 hour before bed, put down books I don't find interesting instead of trying to push through it, changed back to physical books since not as engaged with Kindle

there were a couple years when I read 45-55 books for the year -- had a mix of audiobooks and ebooks. Used Kindle Whispersync to sync audible with Kindle and it would pick up from where the other left off (expensive because now you have to buy both versions) had dedicated time to read everyday

I have a goal to read at least ONE page every night Usually end up reading 10-15 minutes, sometimes an hour or more, sometimes only that one page I've found this keeps the momentum going more and moves the needle more than anything else

The book “breakthrough rapid reading” changed my perspective on how to read non-fiction. Highly recommend it.

Yes to all of the above (before kids) Commutes were great reading time Also just a great way to relax; sometimes I just go to a bar and enjoy a beer and book for an hour

I am not a fast reader by any metric. I'm just consistent. Every night before bed I read for 30-60 minutes. Sometimes more if I'm not falling asleep. With just 60 min before bed every night I usually finish 30-40 books a year. It helps *immensely* to find books that you enjoy.

Just read before bed. For me, it relaxes plus distracts 👍🏻

Confession: I start more books than I finish - which works for non-fiction. Fiction books - if it doesn't grab me, I'll stop and come back to it in the future.
