Probably the most accurate description of the what's happening with $degen, $enjoy and $higher and all the other things bubbling up rn is 'culture coins' but I'm not sure that term has enough rizz.

I think they're just memecoins that capture the essence back (or at least are closer) to what Dawkins originally meant when he created the term 'meme' as a unit of culture. 

Not to say for example Dogs can't be  culture, but they're more emblematic than the actual culture of being a degen.
