Did you know that there’s a giant cloud of alcohol in space? Located in the constellation Aquila, Sagittarius B2 is a massive cloud of ethyl alcohol, enough to produce 300 trillion pints of beer! This cloud is found near the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy. While we can’t brew a cosmic drink from it, the discovery highlights the fascinating chemistry happening in the universe. Cheers to the cosmos!
