Wealth and values must both be accumulated in a family. If the previous generation lacked educational opportunities but values education, they can still raise a successful next generation. However, if a family does not recognize the value of something and instills a belief that it is useless, the next generation will struggle to break through. Others only need motivation; they first overcome self-doubt before considering how to create motivation, while also dealing with recurring self-doubt.
