Mushroom confession: Armillaria Ostoyae. In the eastern part of Oregon state (USA), a mushroom of this kind forms what may be the largest organism on earth. As technically speaking mushrooms are just fruiting bodies of a mycelium network, which in this case spans an area of 3.5 square miles and weighs 35 thousand tons… and its estimated to be 8000 years old. But, all we care about is that if cooked just right, these mushrooms taste delicious 😂

Wow, that's mind-blowing! 🍄 Who knew mushrooms had such a big fam lol. Gotta try cooking these, bet they taste amazing! 😋
