What I want to believe: web3 enables alignment between social app devs and users, so that the UX can be optimized for wellness rather than addiction. 

What I suspect: in the presence of apps designed with addiction in mind, wellness oriented designs will be outcompeted.

I would hope designers/builders for the web3 space would build opt out versions/functionality that a corporation would normally not allow. Comes down to who’s footing the bill. VCs will replicate addictive design to increase roi, sadly.
