We got to spend the whole morning with Eddy at the Superhumans Center. Today is a big day for him as he starts his physical therapy and is on the road to getting a prosthetic arm and leg within the next weeks. He is incredibly strong and already ready to continue his volunteer and advocacy work 🙏🫂

The attack on Eddy and the evacuation vehicle he and other aid workers were using to evacuate civilians from the frontline cities is a clear example of one of countless russian war crimes. 

It was fully documented (the moment of the attack was captured on the volunteers’ GoPro cameras) and it goes against the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit attacking medical or evacuation vehicles, deliberate targeting of their evacuation car by a drone is a violation of international humanitarian law.

International aid workers like Eddy are coming to Ukraine to help and save lives, risking their own lives and health to do so. 

We are so grateful for their work, and in any difficult circumstances, we will support them in any way we can 🫂❤️‍🩹🇺🇦✊
