Consumer version of DePIN use cases? People running around with their phones aka higher cam to take pictures for rewards. Time for the next Pokémon go?! Time for /clankermon? Time for 1000x higher pics in 25? cc @0xdesigner @polmaire.eth @matthewfox

We already got the higher cam and /poidh. That’s all you need to test if higher/other people enjoy taking some fun photos to participate in fun competitions & win small prizes. Ofc some more advanced app would be ultimate killer 🙂 highercam 👇 https://apps.apple.com/app/id6737978587

Yea mostly would need to be something to really incentivize the use. A killer app could be created but if there is nothing to incentivize people it wont take off. Especially in the attention economy that we have

Great consumer apps can take off without incentives. In the past years there was plenty of apps where people took daily selfies or photos with friends. Imo starting with higher filters and small incentives could be a nice bootstrapping help (and further used for gamification, retention, bigger prizes) but shouldn’t be the driving force (otherwise just farmed). The product has to be great & fun for normal people.
