Is BTC Overtaking Gold?

Eric Balacunas, an analyst at Bloomberg, compared the inflow of capital into Bitcoin ETFs and Gold ETFs, and the results are surprising.

In 9 months, the BTC ETF attracted $17.7 billion, which is 5% of the total capitalization of Bitcoin. For comparison, the Gold ETF is only 1% of the value of all gold on the market.

It took gold 22 years to reach these figures, and Bitcoin less than a year.

The comparison is obvious, but there is a small nuance: gold has a much larger capitalization, so the race continues.
