Discussed with Mike, the problem is some spammy users triggering the bot to mention other users. I like mike's suggestions of letting bots opt in to a tag, we'll do that soon. But in the mean time: 1. If your bot is replying to the person that invoked it, that's fine. 2. If your bot is replying to or mentioning people that did not invoke it, that's less fine. Especially if a user can trigger your bot to mention another user

do ppl actually relaly care this much about a little superflous tagging and or âunwantedâ replies etcâŚ. where is the data on this? why is it such a big deal? is that actually representative of most users? or is it just catering to a small subset of users that are apparently super high maintenance and cant handle posting into a PUBLIC FORUM and getting interactions that they dont âlikeâ? like is that really what all of this is all about? do most actual ppl using this app alot even really care much at all? esp. when they have block and muting abilities? what gives?

this friction between the "OG's" and regular people use to X has to play a major role in lackluster DAU/growth. There's plenty of interesting content on here but the team has a preference to promote photos of /food
