Like, we have solar, wind, breeding nuclear but still a bunch of countries are pushing for funding fossil industry. We have trains, some can reach 400-500km/h and still (+- except Japan/Switzerland/Netherlands) most of our transport is focused on car rides...

...We have vaccines for terrible diseases, but still some of them are not fully eradicated. We have all the tech to either burn or recycle our waste (Sweeden, Switzerland, Japan) and still, big chunk of countries that don't have (or super limited) both waste separation & burning facilities, having open-air landfills
