Farcaster token gated groupchats are a feature so good they would probably even work as a separate product - definitely a game changer when they are baked into the same sociafi app you use to interact with those same people!

I would agree but warpcast group chats are essentially unusable. the two most active chats I'm in have both migrated to telegram great farcaster native communities leaving Warpcast because merkle has neglected that product

Wow, which part of them do you consider unusable? I’m only in 2 token gated chats on here, and both have under 200 members - perhaps the issues come up with higher member counts? That’s honestly a shame that farcaster native communities need to use telegram!

yes, definitely related to size of chats, but mostly an issue with activity. proxy's chat didn't have too many more members than others (TO included) it was just the pace of conversation was so fast that without any tools for organizing information it was impossible for nonactive members to keep track at all.
