Crazy that the cost to transact on L2 right now is ~$1. I know 4844 will change this very soon but feel like the vision being sold for L2 was "free and instant" and we're already starting to see fees become a meaningful blocker prior to a real bull market starting. Praying we don't run back outrageous tx fees again.

Yep. Never spent 50 USD as quick as when the bull run began...Gwei rising to 150 is ridiculous and if there isn't implemented a PERMANENT solution for this then crypto will NEVER become mainstream. If we hate gas fees imagine how repulsed normies are.
