Yes, there are a decent number of bot accounts. It’s relatively easy to spot once you get used to it (which is unfortunate tbh) It’s been a cat and mouse game for Merkle, but they’re keeping on top of it

it's interesting that I don't get obvious LLM replies on Twitter lots of different kinds of low quality reply there of course! it was just curious by it's difference in tone - it's surprisingly difficult to detect, or at least I can imagine myself overfitting and offending some people who aren't actually LLMs

Usually the pattern is the bot just rephrasing the original post. Sometimes they add a question that can be answered by reading the original post too.
