There is a very very serious vibe shift happening where many builders who have been loyal to ETH are seriously considering making the switch to Solana. You’re seeing this with projects like Yapster and Tribe where founders who have roots on ETH are seeing the clear liquidity and network advantages to being on SOL. At the end of the day I believe apps should be on many chains at once but in the early days you can only choose one. SOL having such a clear lead of the app layer is something all of us building on ETH need to take extremely seriously when it comes to finding PMF in the next 6-12 months.

Seems like they’re just chasing consumer attention. Solana has that currently. Could be a very different situation in a year. Hell, in three months, even.

You, and I, and the rest of us, are just calling the moves that have already happened. Can't mitigate what's already gone. Just need to lock in and focus on building back better

will get very interesting once Safenet arrives and you can build multichain products with a single wallet

It’s got the lead for speculative, token launch apps right now. Wouldn’t build my zkapp, minting apps etc there. And still believe a few of the good new speculative apps on Base could turn things around quickly - but that might feel more risky than launching on Solana right now (and can ofc add another network later anyways)

ETH vs SOL isn’t a war it’s a reminder to adapt or fade. ⚔️
