I think one of the biggest challenges token launchers like Clanker, wow and dream will need to face is prolonged winners that prove these tokens have a lifespan greater than the first 48 hours they exist. PumpFun really caught on cause everyone believed the tokens could go to 1B+ and they actually did (GOAT, MOODENG, PNUT, CHILLGUY etc). This almost made up for the million other tokens that went to 0 cause everyone saw what was possible. My guess is Base tokens have an opportunity to grow more programmatically - whether that be from buybacks using swap fees, staking or some other onchain variables. I think people grow tired of pvping 1m cap tokens pretty quickly and we need more sustainable long-term bets to emerge for the underlying roulette to keep degens engaged

Keep your head down stay in your lane and wait for your time to come. Easy to get caught up in other people's wins and get on yourself for not catching it yourself. Every missed opportunity is equally as much a lesson as catching a big wave. Your biggest win will be from something you took the time, energy and care to create. Not getting lucky on a 1000x gamble.

The more I trade in the trenches on @base the more I'm realizing my old trading stack is outdated. Metamask + Uniswap seems to be hitting more and more issues by the day. Failed transactions, too many clicks, huge swap fees. Phantom won on SOL because of one-click swaps. Time for the same to come into play on Base

My favorite thing to do on Interface, Terminal and Basescan is go to top holders and see people's FC profile or Base Name. There's something really powerful about contextualizing onchain cap tables through human readable IDs instead of 0x addresses. Obviously the number of accounts actually registered here is tiny - but scrolling to see how big a position people hold in different tokens is really fascinating to me

People want to launch and trade tokens. The higher quality experience FC offers for this over traditional social platforms, the deeper the moat becomes and the more it will grow. Shouldn't be a full on casino, but surfacing easy promotes to do the actions people already want to do feels like the winning recipe for this cycle. This is already happening with bots and frames - think we can go even further down this rabbit hole and offer an even more robust experience around someone's onchain identity and actions to the benefit of everyone who follows them on the feed or looks at their profile

There's going to be a lot of clanker tokens that people run up and dump on day one that hover around $100k cap or below for a few days/weeks before going on a real tear. Distinguish between opportunist trying to catch a quick lick and holders who are genuinely bought into the memetic culture of a token and want to see it thrive
