One crucial infrastructure decision rollup teams need to make: Should I integrate a third-party bridge, or just stick with the native bridge?

Native bridges come out of the box with your rollup framework and don’t introduce new trust assumptions for the chain. But they only connect to Ethereum and have a 7-day waiting period for withdrawals. Third-party bridges solve those problems but come with their own risks.

The native vs. third-party bridge decision ultimately comes down to cost-benefit analysis based on your chain’s use case and target audience. We explain more here. https://blog.conduit.xyz/rollup-native-bridge-vs-third-party-bridge/
