There's this theory that you could be airdropped a scam token and if you try to sell it, all you wallet is drained. is this true? or just not exactly what happens.

I've been hearing about this but with my current solidity knowledge, I'm not sure how it's possible. I'm thinking, If it was possible, everyone would have been drained by now.

i was never brave enough to try it out
but it does sound logically impossible since an approval must be done from msg.sender to drain the coins.
