How Do Warpcast Labels Work? 2/🧵

Spam models predict the probability of an account engaging in spammy behavior, which we define as actions that intentionally generate unwanted notifications or disrupt the user experience. Examples include:

🤖 Posting generic, AI-generated responses.

📥 Bulk-following accounts.

🚫 Sharing irrelevant or offensive content.

Each account is assigned a label based on the following scale:

🔴 0: Likely to engage in spammy behavior.

🟡 1: Might engage in spammy behavior.

🟢 2: Unlikely to engage in spammy behavior.

Accounts not present in the dataset are labeled as "unknown", either due to insufficient data or recent inactivity. Labels are updated weekly to ensure accuracy.

Warpcast Labels are now publicly available via Genyframe based on Geneyleap's api, and you can access them through FC's dataset easily.

Warpcast Labels categorize Farcaster accounts based on their likelihood of exhibiting spammy behavior. These labels are generated using a combination of factors, including historical activity, social graph interactions, message content, and user moderation actions. Our goal? To ensure a high-quality experience for all users by minimizing unwanted notifications and inauthentic content. 🛡️💬

Totally agree context is key. A quick thought or unique angle turns a frame share into something worth engaging with, not just scroll-past noise

Warpcast was created as a decentralized social network, and with a bunch of these filters - spam checking (don't write this, don't do that), identity verification using 5 social networks, making suspicious users invisible. It's even more centralization than Twitter. And of course 90% percent of users use this social network just for airdrop. Can you explain why anyone would want to use Warpcast? What are the advantages if there is no decentralization.
