circle runs USDC and has an explicit blacklisting policy in their terms of service: https://www.circle.com/en/legal/usdc-terms#:~:text=Blacklisting,permitted%20under%20the%20blacklisting%20policy.. it's the same on base as any other chain.

Circle is too big and famous itβs obvious we need hundreds of copy tokens that perfect interoperability with one another so thereβs no attack vector hold zozUSDC which shares in the benefits of USDC (somehow)
