Would you prefer a strong military Lebanese army across the country or think that a small army approach would create more peace long term

It depends on which country you are speaking of.  For example, the Lebanese army did little to nothing during the last war, yet with whatever you heard on news about hezzbulla, they where the ones who took care of the boarder lately and played defence against isreal. 

I wont say every country should have similar issues, for example america wont need such reseilence in it, the army is enough.
