why use protocol fees for the treasury?

you'd have a clear income mechanism for KYB requirements. 

and

you have a very standard structure (especially in the EPL) for leagues / owners to say yes to

the degen in the back gives fans exposure to sports club assets as the underlying value in the protocol

there is a wide open canvas of experimental space in the DeFi world right now that could be applied to the back of the mullet

you'd use this large endowment fund treasury to purchase equity & make deals in exchange for access + influence in the clubs

here's the thing… pro sports have two paths ahead of it:

a) embrace more capital structures that have more people & more capital behind it (see: PE, etc)

b) face declining valuations (multiples) targets
