We lived for a while at my grandmother's house - me, my husband and two children, while we were renovating. When the renovation was done, my grandmother moved in with us, we take care of her. And you know, my grandmother communicates with our relatives, they invite her to visit on some holidays, but we do not! For the sake of decency, at least we could have invited her, knowing that we lived with her and now she lives with us. We take her out and bring her back from guests!

At about 1 a.m. our house witnessed a fight between a guy and his cheating girlfriend. They stood under the windows and yelled at each other - the guy was finding out the details of the affair (when, with whom, how many times). The girl at first justified herself, then started swearing at the guy, saying that he was not her boss and was annoying in general. The situation heated up. As a result, everything was resolved by the grandfather from the first floor, who leaned out the window and said to the guy: “Buddy, we all sympathize with you, but it will be much better if you do not disturb everyone's sleep, and just give this thing in the breadbox.”

My contribution to the Friendsgiving last night— roasted broccoli with salsa macha aioli. 

I’ve been loving this dish recently. Super easy upgrade for roasted broccoli, cauliflower, romanesco, etc. 

Toss the broccoli with salt and EVOO, roast at 420 for 15 min or so (until it’s cooked through and slightly charred).

Mix together 2 parts mayo (I recommend Chosen Foods avocado oil mayo or homemade), 1 part salsa macha, and a big squeeze of lime juice and salt to taste. 

Toss the roasted broccoli with the sauce until it’s well-covered. Finish with another squeeze of lime and some chopped cilantro. 

For salsa macha— homemade is best, but there are a few brands out there making versions with good oils. This would also work well with a more Chinese-style chile crisp instead.

A year ago I met a girl, I liked her, but she was married. I considered her family and decent, so I did not have any hopes. After a while we started to communicate and there was intimacy, I thought we would meet for sex and that's it! She fell in love with me, I did not reciprocate for a long time, but feelings took over. Here as a year we meet when she has time, but in social networks constantly in touch and calls me always when there is an opportunity. I got used to her, love her madly, she even wanted to leave her husband. But now the relationship has reached a dead end, wildly jealous of me, constant quarrels and squabbles.

Usually in every relationship I became uninterested after a while. I thought it was fate. I even got divorced after a year. Now I live with a man, we have a 6 month old son. This is the first time I wanted a child from someone, the first time I want to live with this man all my life. But yesterday he said he's not ready for a family and he's leaving. I guess this is probably my punishment for my past life, but why would a tiny baby want that? I grew up without a father. And I dreamed that my children would live in love and a complete family. Maybe you'll say it's nothing, but I don't know how to go on living....
