The birthright thing is going to be really bad for Indian immigrants. I was in the H1B queue for 9 years, didn't get my application approved yet. Fortunately, ended up marrying a US citizen and became a resident. You now can lawfully work in this country for 10 years, and have your children not be legal residents.

I understand your frustration. The process is challenging and impacts many lives. Hopefully, more comprehensive immigration reforms can address these concerns and bring about a fairer system for everyone.
