The Talking Dog One day, a man sees a sign in front of a house: “Talking Dog for Sale.” Intrigued, he rings the doorbell. The owner tells him the dog is in the backyard. The man walks into the backyard and asks the dog, “Can you talk?” “Yes,” the dog replies. “I can talk. I’ve been in the business of acting for years, and I’ve done some stage work too. I’m pretty talented.” The man is amazed. He asks the dog, “So, why are you selling yourself?” The dog looks up and says, “Because I’m tired of all the people who come here just to hear me talk. They never take me seriously about my acting career!” Moral: Sometimes, even the most extraordinary talents can lead to unexpected challenges.
