It's easy to implement something like this as an app. A "short caster" app will post casts that app itself will automatically delete after X time (the Signer used to post casts can also delete casts).

Tecnically straightforward as vrapan says. Def worth considering for chat channel - could delete after a month or something. Relates to conversation I was having with @manan about making the artwork raw data onchain (could delete the cast data at that point)

Thinking about the input data, rather than the visual art. Eg with the scenius piece storing the text and the image/article links onchain, so other artists can remix

on-chain NFTs is an interesting movement. It takes some skill, sometimes a lot of skill, which is one more reason to appreciate these pieces. Plus the expected lifespan is that of the underlying chain.
