the other option which I have had great success with after acute injury is acupuncture, if you have access to someone who is "locked" in with their healing. been growing veg 20+ years and raising kids, etc - tweaked my back twice in those decades. once ibuprofren did the job. the next time acupuncture did.

RICE -> MEAT immediately after the injury RICE it (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation (maybe not applicable for the back)) A day or two later MEAT it (Movement, Exercise, Analgesia, Treatment (if severe))

imaging thinking farcaster was going to help you... maybe it would. not medical advice - back issues one option is to load up on advil, ibuprofren for a few days. I don't typically use pain killers, yet advil can reduce inflammation enough to help body restore and heal. not great to use long term for stomach, etc.
