Everybody complains that they can't afford a lawyer. If GPT-4 can score top 10% in the bar exam, why can't we have it act as our $20/month virtual lawyer?

In a way it is. But it's not necessarily enough to be a good one.

When I took the bar it seemed to be a memorization/speed reading exercise, skills only v. loosely correlated to later legal work. What was your experience?
