Tom was having a quiet lunch in the park when he saw a child chasing after a runaway balloon. Without thinking, he got up and managed to grab the balloon string just before it floated away. The child ran up, eyes wide with gratitude, and thanked him with a big smile. Tom handed it back, and they exchanged a quick laugh. As he sat back down, he felt a bit lighter, reminded of how even the smallest gestures could brighten someone’s day.
