In general websites in Safari on the iPad will open like desktop websites. In very rare cases you might have websites that do not work in Safari but then you can try in Chrome on ipad instead.

Basic work stuff is same as on a Mac: email, Safari browsing, notes, reminders. For work I write small-ish programs in Python and for that I use the Pythonista app. This is connected to Working Copy (iOS Git client) for version control. For heavier dev stuff I use a Digital Ocean VPS accessed via Blink terminal app.

I’ve gone 100% iPad since a few years back, also for coding! It takes a bit of work to create the right workflows, but to me it’s so much nicer than macOS!
