 is back in London this weekend and I'm feeling massive FOMO, I wanted to share a thread on how ETHLondon 2020 was my Ah-Ha crypto moment, and hackathons are the best alpha source for crypto newbies🧵

Over the weekend, I used http://scaffoldeth.io by @austingriffith, discovered web flow from @dennison & DappHero, experienced an early consumer crypto app with Pepo & @Simonapop, wracked my brain around Eth2 scaling with @rjdrost & hacked on a beanbag with @vitalik.eth

But more importantly, the atmosphere was exhilarating! Everyone coming together, to build, learn & scale ethereum, it all felt so real in a way that my previous crypto expectations hadn't achieved.

Ever since I've been shaping a career path in crypto.

My advice to anyone dabbling in crypto now.

Forget prices; go to hackathons.

Best Alpha out there

At times, I've gotten too caught up with prices. It's normal and hard not to. But the hackathons are where you learn things, and doors can open to the next 1inch, the next @aave, or @makerdao.

At ETHLondon 2020, I tried out 1inch solely because I sat beside @k06a 

Fast forward a year, I received the Uni and 1inch airdrops solely because of that chance encounter.

Today, it's around 6k but last cycle, it could have been as much as 30k
