Margaret Mitchell is a famous American modern female writer. She has a doctorate in literature and worked as a reporter for the Atlanta News. She won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 and the Gold Medal of the Southern Association of New York in 1939. In 1949, she unfortunately died in a car accident. She did not leave many works in her short life, but only one work, Gone with the Wind, is enough to establish her unshakable position in the history of world literature.
