I think in general he is speaking to dilution. It's math that the more mints in each collection, the more dilution, as ETH main has shown with crashing blue chips from RTFK, 10ktf, Yuga, Azuki, etc.

Mint = dilution. Not everyone will hold or use new mints, they are selling. ETH for Onchain Gaias are limited, including holders' and new comers'. These ETHs maintain floor price of OGs. New mints will "burn" ETH so OGs down.
