Catch me on Monday at 12:05 during EthCC in the silver hall. I will speak about rotki, why it's needed and why you should (eventually) use nothing else but rotki. Explain where we came from, where we are and where we are going. The more people use rotki, the safer the field becomes. (screenshot from the talk)

How does Rotki help here at all? I mean I use it now too but I don't see how it would have helped?

Use online apps -> get your data leaked -> become a target This is one of many examples in the presentation.

Ahhhh smh I see it now, sorry. Ofc makes sense now ye. Although doesnt Rotki require the address when buying premium? I can't 100% remember if it was only name or address as well, but I think it was address too. So what if that part gets hacked and leaked? They'd know I am using Rotki then, no? Sounds to me like the same issue, but maybe I'm missing smth - please lmk :) Btw I really like Rotki so far. Are you planning to make it possible to use Rotki to create transactions in the future? Would be cool

yes to the last one. not the same problem. nobody knows you use rotki unless you tell them. The data we keep we delete as soon as we can plus the address is just for the invoice. Does not need to be a real address like ledger. We don't ship anything to you. What's more nobody in rotki knows what you own, where or how much. Nor can rotki steal your crypto as happened with tres commas. Or get your private keys as happened with coinstats.
