farcade was a love letter to arcade culture. it was nostalgic, playful, and creative, but it also had limits we’re building the tiktok of gaming, the gaming social network where the games are built by the gamers this wasn’t feasible even six months ago. AI wasn’t ready. web distribution was slower. mini apps were just launching. remix isn’t one innovation, it’s a handful, coinciding to make a truly revolutionary product. this summer is going to be huge, we’ve got so much coming that we can’t wait to show you. it’s only just begun!

life since launching /farcade in december: 5am: wake up in cold sweat thinking the app’s offline 6-7am: answer messages w/ bloodshot eyes 7-8am: gym + sauna to pretend I’m balanced 8-11:30am: code fast (mostly telling claude he’s doing great) 11:30-12:30: walk + whisper “ah this sun is bright” 12:30pm: bug alert → sprint home → immediate cramp 12:30-5pm: crush celsius, argue w/claude about architecture 5-6pm: dinner + doomscroll walk 6-8pm: final code push w/grok (claude got sassy) 8-10pm: watch LOTR (again) + respond to messages not sustainable. but @blackstock and i are builders. if it’s working, you go all in. this is what that looks like.
